Overview

The University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is a substantial award (up to AUD 40,000 over four years for undergraduates, or AUD 20,000 for postgraduates) for top international applicants. The scholarship is highly competitive and selects from the top 5 percent of admitted international students. Around 30 to 50 awards per cycle. The 2027 main intake deadline is 30 September 2026.

• Self-funding the remainder of tuition and all living costs.
• No previous University of Sydney enrolment.

How to apply

2. The scholarship is assessed automatically alongside your admission application (no separate application required).
3. Your offer letter will state whether you have been awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
4. Submit your admission application before 30 September 2026 for Semester 1 2027 entry.
5. Accept your offer and the scholarship by the date listed in your offer letter.
