A short page covering what we collect, what we do with it, and who else sees it. If anything below is unclear, email us and we will rewrite the offending sentence.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, email, and whatever else you typed. When you browse the site, our host (Cloudflare) logs standard anonymous traffic data: IP address, browser, pages visited, approximate country. Where you have consented, our analytics and advertising partners (Google) also set cookies to measure traffic and choose ads. We do not track you across other sites ourselves.

What we do with it

Reply to your message. Notice if the site is being abused. Understand which articles help people and improve the parts that confuse visitors. Fund the site through advertising. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone outside the services listed below.

Who else sees it

To run the site we use a handful of third-party services. Each has its own privacy practices, linked where appropriate.

  • Cloudflare. Hosts the site, routes inbound email, and handles security.
  • MailerSend. Receives contact-form submissions and delivers the resulting email to our inbox.
  • Google AdSense. Serves the ads alongside articles. With your consent, Google and its partners may set and read cookies to personalise the ads you see and measure their performance. Without consent, we ask Google to serve only non-personalised ads and to limit cookie use. You can review or change your preferences any time at adssettings.google.com, read how Google uses this data in its partner-sites notice, or see their ad policies.
  • Google Analytics (where enabled, and only with your consent). Counts visits and measures traffic.
  • ipwho.is. Detects visitor country when Cloudflare's primary method is unavailable.

Advertising and your consent

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Until you choose, we instruct Google, through Google Consent Mode, to withhold advertising and measurement storage by default: no advertising cookies are set and no personalised ads are shown.

  • Accept all lets Google set advertising and measurement cookies and show personalised ads.
  • Reject non-essential keeps that storage switched off. You still see ads, but non-personalised ones, and we still count visits only in aggregate.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, personalised advertising and measurement stay off unless you actively accept. To change your earlier choice, clear this site's storage in your browser and reload, and the banner will appear again.

Cookies

Three kinds: essential (keeping the site working, always on), measurement (counting visits, only with consent), and advertising (Google's, only with consent). You can also block cookies in your browser. Some things may stop working.

Your rights

Email contact@scholarlydream.com and ask us to show you, fix, or delete anything we hold on you, or to withdraw a consent you gave earlier. We reply within seven days.

Children

The site is not aimed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We update this page occasionally. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be flagged in a banner at the top of the site for at least 30 days.
