Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarship 2027 (Groningen)
A fully funded masters scholarship from University of Groningen, based in Netherlands.
Overview
The Eric Bleumink Fund supports outstanding students from developing countries to study at the University of Groningen for a two-year Masters. Around 10 scholarships per cycle. Covers tuition, living costs, books, and international travel. Open to applicants from a defined list of developing countries, most of Africa included. The 2027 cycle closes 1 December 2026.

Eligibility
- Citizen of a developing country on the Fund’s published list (most African countries qualify; check the source page).
- Bachelor’s degree with strong upper-second or first-class honours.
- Holding or applying for admission to a Groningen Masters programme for the 2027/28 academic year.
- English proficient (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90+ for most programmes).
- Not already enrolled in or holding a Masters degree.
- Commitment to return to your home country after the Masters.
How to apply
- Apply for admission to your chosen Groningen Masters programme through the university’s standard international portal.
- Once admitted (or with admission in progress), open the Eric Bleumink Fund application form linked from the source page.
- Complete the form: motivation letter, CV, two references, financial-need statement, and return-to-home undertaking.
- Submit before 1 December 2026.
- Recipients are notified in March or April 2027 for September 2027 entry.
