INSEAD MBA Scholarships for Africa 2027

Overview

INSEAD, the one-year MBA leader, offers around 90 different MBA scholarships including several specifically for African candidates: the Robin Hood Foundation Scholarship, INSEAD Africa Scholarship Fund, Syngenta Scholarship for African Agribusiness leaders, and Eden Capital Africa Scholarship. Awards range from EUR 10,000 to full tuition. The 2027 cycle aligns with INSEAD’s standard MBA rounds. The main deadline for September 2027 entry is 31 January 2027.

Eligibility

• Holding (or expecting) admission to the INSEAD MBA programme.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience (INSEAD average is around 6 years).
• GMAT or GRE (waiver case-by-case).
• Strong English language proficiency; INSEAD requires two additional languages by graduation.
• For Africa-specific awards: African citizen or strong demonstrated commitment to Africa-focused career.

How to apply

1. Apply for admission to INSEAD MBA through the INSEAD online application portal by one of the cycle rounds.
2. In the application, indicate your interest in scholarships and complete the scholarship-specific essays.
3. Most scholarships are awarded after admission; some are awarded after enrollment based on the first semester GPA.
4. Submit before 31 January 2027 for September 2027 entry.
5. Scholarship decisions arrive between February and April 2027.
