UBC International Tuition Award 2027

Overview

The University of British Columbia in Vancouver offers the International Tuition Award to international Masters and PhD students. The award is worth approximately CAD 3,200 per year (about a quarter of international tuition) and is applied automatically each year a recipient is in good standing. Hundreds of UBC international graduate students receive the award each year. Application is via UBC graduate admission. How to apply

1. Apply for admission to your chosen UBC Masters thesis or PhD programme through the UBC online graduate application portal.
2. No additional application for the International Tuition Award.
3. Submit your graduate application before the department deadline (most close 15 January 2027 for September 2027 entry).
4. The award is applied automatically once you accept your UBC offer and pay your acceptance deposit.
5. Tuition reductions appear on your UBC student account in your first term.
