About the role
Ecobank Transnational, the pan-African bank present in 33 countries, runs a Graduate Programme for talented graduates ready to build a career in retail, commercial, or corporate banking. The programme is bilingual (English and French) and rotates trainees across two countries within a region. Application deadline 15 August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Complete an intensive three-month induction at Ecobank Academy.
- Rotate through three six-month placements covering branch banking, commercial banking, and a head-office function (risk, finance, operations, technology, or digital).
- Deliver project work assigned by each rotation host.
- Pass internal banking certifications including the Ecobank Banking Essentials.
- Participate in cohort knowledge-sharing and leadership sessions.
Requirements
- Citizen of an African country where Ecobank operates.
- Bachelors degree (any discipline) with a minimum of upper-second or equivalent.
- Graduated within the past two years.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Functional French and English for francophone or anglophone postings.
- Maximum age 27 at application.
Nice to have
- Internship in financial services, consulting, or a corporate function.
- Professional certification progress (CFA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Portuguese language ability for Lusophone country postings (Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde).
