Country Manager, Kenya

About the role

Glovo is hiring a Country Manager for Kenya to lead its on-demand delivery business across food, groceries, and pharmacy. Glovo is a multi-category delivery platform present in 25+ countries. The Kenya Country Manager owns full P&L for the market and reports to the Africa Regional Director. Application deadline 31 August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Own the Kenya P&L: revenue, gross merchandise value, contribution margin, and customer growth.
• Lead the country team (40 to 80 reports across operations, commercial, marketing, finance, partnerships).
• Set and execute the country strategy: city expansion, vertical mix, partner brand acquisition, brand campaigns.
• Engage local regulators, partner organisations, and media as the public face of Glovo Kenya.
• Report monthly to the Africa Regional Director and quarterly to the global executive team.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of professional experience including three or more years in a P&L leadership role.
• Track record of scaling a consumer business in a competitive, fast-changing market.
• Strong analytical and financial-modelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ideally Swahili.
• Authorisation to work in Kenya.

Nice to have

• Prior on-demand platform or consumer technology experience.
• Existing network among Kenyan corporates, regulators, or civic leaders.
• MBA from a top global business school.
