Operations Manager, Yango Ghana

About the role

Yango, the international ride-hailing and on-demand services platform, is hiring an Operations Manager for its Ghana market. The role owns supply (driver), demand (rider), and pricing operations for the Accra and Kumasi service areas. Application deadline 31 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Own supply growth: driver acquisition, onboarding, activation, and retention across Yango Ghana service areas.
• Manage pricing strategy and promotional spend within budget and unit economic targets.
• Partner with Customer Support, Marketing, and Product on market initiatives.
• Track KPIs (active drivers, requests, completion rate, ETA, churn) daily and report weekly to regional leadership.
• Lead a small local team of two to four operations associates.

Requirements

• Three or more years of operations, consulting, or business management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on Excel and SQL.
• Track record of operating in fast-changing environments with measurable results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Authorisation to work in Ghana.

Nice to have

• Prior on-demand platform experience (ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce logistics).
• Russian language ability (Yango head office communication).
• Local market knowledge of Accra and Kumasi mobility patterns.
