Senior Product Manager, Lending

About the role

Kuda Bank is a Nigerian neobank serving more than 7 million customers with free personal banking, overdrafts, and merchant payments. The Senior Product Manager, Lending owns Kuda’s credit products including overdrafts, instant loans, and salary advances. Application deadline 31 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Own the credit product line end-to-end: roadmap, prioritisation, specs, launch, and post-launch analysis.
• Partner daily with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, and growth.
• Define and report on product KPIs (loan disbursements, approval rate, default rate, NPS).
• Conduct customer research with Kuda lending customers and partner with risk on credit-policy iteration.
• Drive A/B experiments and feature gating.

Requirements

• Four to six years of product management experience, with at least two years owning a lending or credit product.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on SQL and at least one analytics tool (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker).
• Working knowledge of digital lending: credit decisioning, loan management systems, collections workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Authorisation to work in Nigeria.

Nice to have

• Prior fintech or bank lending experience.
• Compliance or risk-management background.
• MBA or Masters in finance, economics, or engineering.
