About the role
Stanbic Bank Ghana, part of the Standard Bank Group (Africa’s largest bank by assets), runs a 24-month rotational Graduate Trainee Programme for top university graduates. Trainees rotate across personal banking, business banking, corporate and investment banking, operations, and risk. Application deadline 31 July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Complete four six-month rotations across major bank functions.
- Deliver project work assigned by each rotation host (analyses, presentations, customer pilots).
- Pass internal banking certifications during the programme.
- Participate in cohort learning sessions and leadership development modules.
- Build a clear specialisation track by the end of month 18 for permanent placement.
Requirements
- Ghanaian citizen or permanent resident.
- Bachelors degree from a recognised university with a minimum of second-class upper honours (or equivalent).
- Graduated within the past two years.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, or other Stanbic Ghana locations.
- Maximum age 28 at application.
Nice to have
- Internship or part-time experience in financial services.
- Professional certification progress (ACCA, CFA, CIM).
- French language ability for regional rotations.
