UCL Global Masters Scholarships 2027

Overview

UCL Global Masters Scholarships fund 30 international Masters students per cycle who have demonstrated financial need and have an offer of admission to a UCL Masters programme. Each scholarship is worth GBP 15,000 to GBP 25,000, applied as a tuition fee reduction. Open to applicants from low- and middle-income countries, including most of Africa. The 2027 cycle closes 30 April 2027.

Eligibility

• Citizen of a country on the World Bank low-income or lower-middle-income classification.
• Holding an offer of admission to a UCL Masters programme for September 2027 entry.
• Documented financial need: household income, family circumstances, no other major funding source.
• Strong academic record at undergraduate level.
• Not already in receipt of a UCL scholarship of equal or greater value.

How to apply

1. Apply for admission to your UCL Masters programme by the published programme deadline.
2. Once you hold an unconditional offer, open the UCL Global Masters Scholarship application portal at the source link.
3. Complete the financial declaration and motivation statement. The application is short (around 500 words) and focused on financial need plus the case for the specific programme.
4. Submit by 30 April 2027.
5. Decisions are announced in June or July 2027 for September 2027 entry.
