Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2027

A partial scholarship from Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, based in France.

Partial funding 206 days left

Overview

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is the French Government’s flagship award for international postgraduate students. It funds Masters (one or two years) and PhD (up to three years) study at participating French universities. The award is partial: it covers a monthly stipend plus benefits, but the recipient university typically waives or sharply reduces tuition fees. Around 400 to 500 awards per cycle. The 2027 cycle deadline is 10 January 2027, but applications are nominated by the host French university, not by the student directly.

Benefits

  • Monthly allowance of EUR 1,181 (Masters) or EUR 1,400 (PhD).
  • Return international air ticket between home country and France.
  • Health insurance.
  • Cultural activities allowance.
  • Housing supplement of EUR 150 per month in cities with high cost of living.
  • Tuition fees typically waived or sharply reduced by the host French university.
